I found this book really hard to listen to, and ultimately couldn't finish as there were chapters of child abuse from a kid's perspective which I don't enjoy in these types of stories. Its fairly mild compared to a lot of thrillers and crime stories, so many people will be ok with it, but if you're sensitive to that kind of content this may not be the book for you.

I hadn't heard of this case before and went it with no ideas of the convicted's guilt or innocence. The hosts claim to be trying to be neutral, but talking to the convict they believe everything he tells them with very little skepticism. They go out of their way to prove his claims are correct, but no attempt to disprove him really.

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it, but I listened to the full sample before downloading. Instead of being from the first chapter or two like usual, it’s from a chapter near the end of book and references info you don’t get until past halfway through.

I wasn’t sure if I would like this book when I first download it, but I burned through It so quickly. The characters are complex and well written and it’s a great story about the different types of families and what it means to be a mother

I was excited to see a Canadian deceptive story, but found this was too much about the romantic and other relationships and less about the crime solving for my taste.

I found this book really hard to get through, the whole thing felt like someone took an Intro to Psychology class and thought they knew everything about therapy. The main character is terrible to listen to complain about all the people that they hate, and the story spends very little time with the only sympathetic character.
