Hilketa is a frenetic and violent pastime where players attack each other with swords and hammers. The main goal of the game: obtain your opponent's head and carry it through the goalposts. With flesh and bone bodies, a sport like this would be impossible. But all the players are "threeps", robot-like bodies controlled by people with Haden's Syndrome, so anything goes. No one gets hurt, but the brutality is real, and the crowds love it. Until a star athlete drops dead on the playing field.

I felt that the twists and antagonist motives and setups lacked detail and intrigue. Also I want to learn more about the characters in sequels, but that fell woefully short here.

One of the comedy world's fastest-rising stars tells his wild coming of age story during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa and the tumultuous days of freedom that followed. Noah provides something deeper than traditional memoirists: powerfully funny observations about how farcical political and social systems play out in our lives.

First of all, biographies read by the author are the best biographies to listen to. it's hard to Simply read about one's life. life is made up of more than what can be easily described with words. Trevor's first hand spoken account gifts that extra level of detail of what his experience must have felt like.

Second, his story makes you stop and think about how lucky many of us are. it lends perspective to all our wants and expectations in life. for this I'm grateful for reading his book.
