I heard Chris Voss speaking on a pod cast and decided to download the audible version of the book. In an email and text conversation with with a car dealership owner, I was able to use the techniques presented and secure a FULL refund of a vehicle that I purchased 1.7 years previous in which the engine deteriorated and failed. I’d also used the techniques to have an oil change paid for in full when a cap under the hood was broken on the vehicle. Both interactions were not as easy as you’d think. People (especially business) have trouble being fair and just as a rule. It requires gentle negotiations to subdue the appetite of the ego. As a female I’d recommend learning these techniques to improve all business interactions that require grit and guts. I’m a fan!!
