Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

What a completely amazing book

This story is the most fantastic thing in the whole world. I have listened to it 26 times already. If this book was a person I would marry it on the spot. Just wow, this is the best story ever. When I’m walking down the road I sometimes just run up to random pedestrians and tell them about this book!!! I even have Ickabog posters all over my room!!! My family makes fun of me for how much I love this book. I truly and honestly believe that if you do anything other than listening to this book it should be considered a massive waste of time. Whenever I drive or walk anywhere I always listen to this story because it is the most amazing thing that has ever been invented. The author of this is an absolute genius I believe that he should be given a Nobel Prize for writing this wonderful work of art. Recommend this to everyone and buy it at once. I would recommend this to people in between the ages of 1 and 200

In all the confusion, Bettina's family neglects to set out the traditional bowl of Christmas rice pudding for the tiny nisse who are rumored to look after the family and their livestock.

Story
The six Herdman children are “absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world”. They lie and steal and smoke cigars. They even burned down Fred Shoemaker’s old toolhouse. Now they’re taking over the Christmas pageant. The Herdmans have never heard the Christmas story before, and they don’t know anything about shepherds or Wise Men. When Imogene hears about the swaddling clothes, she demands to know why anyone would tie up a baby and put him in a feedbox.

A very funny and heartwarming story that well illustrates the phrase “you can’t judge a book by its cover”

I hated this story,it was Ill thought out and the plot was boring and infuriating. I was disgusted that someone dare publish such a disgrace to all books and claim money for it. I think the author should be imprisoned for creating such an awful excuse for a book. I wouldn’t recommend this audiobook to my worst nemesis.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

This story was amazing!! Although I wouldn’t recommend it for children under 13 just because of all the kissing and boy stuff it was an extremely well done story with a fantastic plot.
