The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

I first read Bram Stoker’s Dracula over a decade ago. I enjoyed the style of writing, as well as the plot, while reading the book.

When I saw that Audible has a full cast book in their store, I was really excited.
With much excitement, however, come great expectations.
Fortunately, I was not disappointed in the least!

A beautifully narrated, captivating piece of literature..!
A true joy to listen to, even for somebody who’s a big fan of the story and genre.

A must read!

Good story with excellent narration.
It does fall flat a bit towards the end, with a rather anticlimactic finish to our exciting character (Moss).

I don’t want to say much more in fear to spoil if for a potential reader, but I did get quite disappointed.

He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble. And its shocking secrets are laid bare.

However, the narration is terrible. The lady who’s narrating it is really hard to listen to- everything is being described as if she’s sobbing. High pitched pleading tone, which I could barely tolerate. Ugh!
