This is one of my favourite stories of the decade. Bonus points for its therapy.

If you are new to Nero Wolf this one sets the bar high. There are better in the series but this one is right up there.

This narrator was splendid. The film adaptation kept so much to the book and the narrator recreates the actors voices you feel as though you are listening to the film. That wouldn't necessarily be a good thing but is enjoyable in this case.

This was the first Nero Wolfe I read and I've been an addict ever since. But since it might be the best that is understandable.

If you are going to pick just one Nero Wolfe this one is hard to beat. Got a hankering for a good fricassée.

Ms. Matheson throws a gut punch in this performance. I love Ruth to begin with but I can't count the number of times I cried in this reading. Her voices and emotion are literally stirring. Thank you, just thank you

Would have been better if there was a male narrator for the Mr. Markham perspectives. Or at least a change in voice. Couldn't get into it until the Mrs. Huntington narrative began.
