Just like the original, Ready Player Two is filled with fun, intrigue, and nostalgia. It’s a real page turner (so to speak) and is again excellently narrated by the incomparable Will Weaton. If you listened to the first, it’s a no brainer, use your credit on this book.

Easily a must read from 2020

Unsurprisingly Barack Obama’s A Promised land is among the best books of 2020. It is a rare treat to have a former president who is also a professional author. And the fact the Obama narrates the audiobook himself, giving us almost 30 hours of that soothing oration that has been so notably absent for the last 4 years, makes this a must listen.

I would listen to another 6 hours

This audio book is a real treat. It's laugh-out-loud funny (the real kind, not the lol kind, where you don't actually change the expression on your face but still type 'lol'). It's hilarious, self-deprecating, interesting ... you get it. If you're a fan, spend the credit, it's great. :)

Kevin Hart is an inspiring little man! 5’4” of pure genius! :) Seriously though, loved this book. A funny, inspirational, kick your butt into gear reality check.

It's kinda dumb, but I liked it :) Paul Rudd is the best and the whole cast is really stellar. Excellent sound design and production values. I did lol a few times, but by no means does it make you ROTFLOL, ya know? 4/5

Though it was a bit exhausting listening to Rick yell, I mean rant, at me for 6 hours straight, it was also highly entertaining :) The best part was the stories dropped in about hilarious behind the scenes moments while filming the Rick Mercer Report. I only wish there was more of this and a little less of the rants. Canadians, fans of Rick and the show will love this book.

The excerpt definitely left me wanting more. It’s insightful, depressingly timely, and expertly narrated by the one and only Laurence Fishburne.

I don't know why I grabbed the sequel because I felt the same about the first one! As with the first, very unique and interesting take on alien life, AI, etc. I just could not get into it. Found myself spacing out, missing stuff. But it's not terrible, so if you are sci-fi obsessed and want to devote more attention to it, go for it!

Video game fans and makers, and anyone interested in entrepreneurship, business and entertainment will love this book. I love these insider stories of the Wild West that was the young video game industry. The book is also expertly narrated by the indomitable Wil Weaton, so my fellow nerds will rejoice in that :)

Maybe it’s just me and my level of distraction when trying to listen to this, but it didn’t pull me in as much as other sci-fi (for example Isamovs foundation series really did it for me). Cool and unique concepts for sure though! I could see how other sci fi fans would love it. Maybe I’d give it a read again someday.
