While there were a couple of scenes that were mildly funny this was one of those situations where you cannot believe that a production could be so absolutely pointless, that you slog through to the end looking for...something.

For a series that has such high listener reviews it definitely is not for me. I like to listen to stories that have a point.

This series is not what the title suggests. It is mainly an examination of non traditional lifestyles.

This highly educated author has chosen to display his superior intellect at every opportunity. the book is a painfully confusing endless slog where every sentence has numerous points and distracting sidebars. every idea is discussed using the maximum number of words, wherever possible uses the most obscure terms and phrases. clearly the goal is for the author to display his superiority to the listener. it is impossible to keep track of the authors point. even though i have a true interest in the topic i could only put up with an hour of this babble

i am a long term fan of the author and his many podcasts which i would highly recommend. unfortunately this books content is simply a repackaging of his earlier work and the reading of it had none of the vim and vigour i have grown to love and expect. what happened to the passion? i stopped listening halfway thru...disappointing
