I was waiting for this book to come out the second I finished the first. I love the narrator's accents and voices and as usual Cassandra Clare's book kept you wondering right until the end!

I could not believe my ears right from the first chapter. Hearing of what went on in this cult and what these women had to go through was jaw dropping. I literally listened to this book every waking hour I could until it was done, I had to know what happened next and the narrator helped paint that picture perfectly. I had no clue this cult even existed before this.

love it!

Only a few pages in and you know you're in it to the end. I love how Armie narrates Elios character, giving him almost a Joe Golberg vibe (from you) which keeps you listening and wondering what he will do next. Love it! I'm going to watch the movie next and see how it compares!

This was such a crazy story from start to finish, you learn more about the story of Havas life as you continue and each chapter leaves you wanting to listen to the next right away!

Honestly I loved the book! I was hooked from the first page on. I listened to all 25 hours in under a week. It was awesome to hear Edwards point of view and his inner thoughts. Although, he did give me some Joe Golberg vibes which made him seem a bit stalkerish at times. In twilight you never got to see how much Edward really followed and watched Bellas every move. I do see why he did it though. haha
I also think that Stephanie Meyers really stepped up the game with this book, her writing has evolved and is that much better than in twilight.
I recommend this book to anyone who has read twilight!

l really liked the story alot, it kept me wanting to listen to more. The reason I give it three stars is because the author went into too much detail when describing gore and animals being gruesomely killed. I had to skip ahead because i couldn't listen to it. I can't say he wrote it badly though because it was a horror novel and some gore is to be expected. That being said, he was very good with his descriptions and painting pictures in your head.

it was a good book but too many characters to follow it as easily as I would have liked. I might have to give it a relisten now that I finished it!
