I am currently rereading this series because I enjoy it so much. The character is spunky without being foolish and the stories are well-written and executed. There is a touch of romance without explicit detail. The narrator is very good which enhances the overall enjoyment. Recommend.

A well done dramatization of one of Agatha Christie‘s classic stories. The actors were very interesting to listen to and delivered excellent performances. I recommend this audiobook. .

These are a series of very short procedurals. They each end very abruptly and a few carry over to the next. The characters do not develop very much. The stories are rather shallow and become very much like one another. There is an annoying sequence of music at the end and beginning of each segment that is very distracting. The series ends as abruptly as it starts. Not my taste. The performances are decent.

This is an excellent collection of Miss Marple stories. The person portraying Jane Marple is excellent as is the rest of the cast. Thoroughly enjoyable. Clear audio recording. Recommend.

These tales are somber in nature more along the line of horror and tales from the dark side. There are snippets of unrelated ads and broadcasts interspersed randomly throughout the collection which makes it difficult to listen to.

This was an enjoyable listen. Well written with superb performances. A lot of humour with the main characters being of a certain age with grace, charm, intelligence, and life fully lived. Recommended.

A satisfactory ending to the saga. Note that Chapter 5 is a repetition of one of the first episodes in Series 1&2 and is out of sequence. It is still an interesting introduction to the main characters if you haven’t had a chance to hear it before and a reminder if you have. A well-written and performed series that indeed is good to the last drop. Dark stories yet with uplifting moments, atmosphere of the times, and great character studies.

The quality of this series continues and I am saddened that there is only one more instalment left. The writing and performances are outstanding. The stories are a bit dark in nature reflecting the time and circumstances of those living near the docks of Edinborough in the times of Queen Victoria. Recommended.
