although it is a very long audiobook, it is one of the best historical recounts I've read to date , about a time not so long ago. my personal interest in understanding how and why, such a vile creature, such as the Nazi, could come to power, as well as trying to understand why some mis-informed people today, believe this exists in the form of Donald Trump and his followers... they are not anywhere near the same, but the media propaganda would have you believe otherwise. great and satisfying read. Highly recommend it.

Histoire
In Sapiens, Dr. Yuval Noah Harari spans the whole of human history, from the very first humans to walk the earth to the radical - and sometimes devastating - breakthroughs of the cognitive, agricultural, and scientific revolutions. Drawing on insights from biology, anthropology, paleontology, and economics, he explores how the currents of history have shaped our human societies, the animals and plants around us, and even our personalities.

totally enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Wonderful walkthrough of our history as a species, outlining where we started, where we are, and what might possibly lay in the future...Allows you to ponder that question on your own... Recommended for anyone!!!
