A really fun portrayal of Anne Bonney and Mary Reid, women making it in the male world of piracy.

So, I just finished watching the series of The Queen's Gamit and then turned to listen to the book. The series is visually stunning, but the book carries much more of the emotional content of Beth's life. I highly recommend both.

I loved this. I love Guy Gavriel Kay's books, and Children of Earth and Sky holds hints and memories of the Sarantium Mosaic. Mr Kay is a poet and his prose is very lyrical. Simon Vance is a superb narrator and delivers the a terrific performance.

I'm relistening to the Stormlight Archive series prior to starting the newest and last in the set. A wonderful story, and characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed this Great Course on Ancient Mesopotamia. Prof. Podany presented her subject really well and was very easy to listen to, in fact, I listened to the entire course in one shot. Ancient Mesopotamia is one of the two subjects (the other being the Black Death), that I remember studying in my first year of Secondary School History. Totally recommended.
