This book was OK in that it kept ya listening but only because you were hoping for something bigger to happen which just never did. It fell short

This was def a psychological ride. At times has you guessing yourself what was real and what was the characters hallucinations! 5 star read!!

I loved the perspective of the narrator, wondering if it was reliable or not. Plus putting a light on the mental health community in a way that isn't detrimental and shows those who experience mental health issues are still very 'normal' (in my opinion, however I could be wrong) was really interesting. I was very engaged throughout until very close to the end and then it lost my attention a bit. I think I was looking for more about their life afterwards but didn't get enough of that.

Loved the narrator! Book moves along properly. The plot twist at the end is exciting too! You're always questioning the main character's state of mind, the doctors, her friends, etc. I recommend :)

Fast paced & interesting concepts

labeled YA. I'm old enough that young adult annoys me, and this book did at times, but they were very few. this was a unique look at a mental illness and many of the things that mental illness entails for a young person. It hooked me from the beginning and didn't disappoint. This one definitely deserves more stars than reported now. Give it a try, it's worth a read.

I actually skipped several chapters, as the pace was slow. I didn't love the first person narrative but can appreciate why it was used.
