Frances Hodgson Burnett (1849 -1924) was an English-born author of romances and books for children. After moving to America in 1865, she established a popular reputation with the publication of That Lass o’ Lowrie’s in 1877. She is best known for such novels as Little Lord Fauntleroy, The Little Princess, and The Secret Garden.

So Wonderful!

Such a wonderful book!! The narrator was great and we always looked forward to the next chapter! I have girls ages 9 & 11. Highly recommend this one!

way better than the movie

I needed a story for my 6 year old and I too listen to and I used to love this movie. Though the movie is good, the book far outweighs it and the narration was excellent. 6 year old was captivated.

Great narrator & story.

Really enjoyed the narration and story. Only critique: Narrator/chapter skips 2-3 times in random places throughout the book.

Slight background noise

Beautiful story and well delivered by the narrator.
Unfortunately, there is some kind of background noise or talking echo that can be distracting at times.
