When a mysterious being gives Frank Edison the chance to travel back in time to prevent his brother’s death, he jumps at the chance. Being a first-time temporal traveler, however, he does not realize how sinister meddling with the past can be.

Frank returns from his successful attempt only to realize that he has completely rewritten his own history. His wife, Christine, instead chose to marry his brother, and his own life has been ruined, leaving him a widower with few prospects.

Full of regret, Frank struggles to adapt to his new life and with the decision that threatens to drive him over the brink of insanity: Risking time travel again, or accepting his new bleak future.
