Absolutely fantastic "read"

I've been a big fan of Brennan's podcast "The Ghost Story Guys" since I found out about them last year. This book is a fantastic addition to anyone that enjoys any and all things paranormal. Well done, Brennan!

Even better out loud

I had already read a physical copy of A Strange Little Place, but after getting so attached to Brennan's voice listening to his podcast, I couldn't pass up the chance to listen to him read it to me as well. He has the perfect voice for telling ghost stories. I can't recommend this enough.

Short, sweet, spooky

A super fun listen, lots of really quick and to the point paranormal stories, local history and a reasonable amount of scepticism for a book of scary stories. Will listen to it again soon!

Most interesting

I really enjoyed this book and the narrator did a great job as well. It was very well researched and I liked that it was a Canadian story.

Not bad, not great

The author clearly put a lot of research into this book, but I just couldn't quite stay hooked on a lot of the stories. Some of them really captured my attention while some others weren't as memorable. Not being a work of fiction, this is understandable however.

If you're a BC resident, you will likely enjoy this book more than I did, as there are a lot of references to specific places and events in the area.
