What the critics say

"Lindsay C. Gibson, PsyD, gives practical insight into a prevalent problem.... The book is impeccably clear.... This utter lack of confusion makes the book quite soothing, despite the heavy subject." ( Foreword Magazine)

Life Changing and Eye Opening

I read this book a lot slower than most because it was so enlightening I didn’t want to miss anything. It was like making sense of my whole life, sentence after sentence. This book not only shed light onto the motivations behind some of my major life decisions, but also gave me tools on how to move forward and discover who I am outside of those previous narratives. Highly recommend!!!

Good

Applicable to people who aren’t just your parents. Eye opening and non judgemental way of teaching you what it means to be emotionally unavailable. Easy listen.
