Publisher's Summary

Tessa has everything to lose. Hardin has nothing to lose.... except her. After We Collided... Life will never be the same.

After a tumultuous beginning to their relationship, Tessa and Hardin were on the path to making things work. Tessa knew Hardin could be cruel, but when a bombshell revelation is dropped about the origins of their relationship - and Hardin’s mysterious past - Tessa is beside herself.

Hardin will always be... Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with despite his angry exterior - or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy. Not with the memory of passionate nights spent in his arms. His electric touch. His hungry kisses.

Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She put so much on hold for Hardin - school, friends, her mom, a relationship with a guy who really loved her, and now possibly even a promising new career. She needs to move forward with her life.

Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He’s not going down without a fight. But can he change? Will he change... for love?

Good storyline....not so great male narrator.

The female narrator could do this all on her own, and I believe it would be better. Good story line though.

Good book, not so good narration

I liked the male narration but the female was a bit grading. Good story so I was hooked. Would recommend.

Male narrator

I listen to the first book and really enjoyed it and the female narrator and got used to her voice. I started this book and when I heard the male narrator i hated his voice and I was upset it was very off putting and made me uncomfortable. I decided to read the book on actual paper instead because I couldn’t handle it.

Eye roll...

I liked the first one better...and that’s saying something because I didn’t really like the first one. Tessa is a doormat. I’ll probably still see the movie, though. I guess I like garbage.

Painful

I have about 3.5 hours left and I don't think I can get through it. These characters are just too much. It's the same thing over and over and over again. It never gets anywhere. Also this author needs to stop using the word LITERALLY all the time. Her hair was black, literally black. Sooo overused. Wish I could return the book.

Shane East!!!! Love this narrater!

Shane East literally makes Hardin come alive in this book! I confess I only bought the first book because of this narrator; but Anna Todd is a genius. I have never listened to (or read) a more intense series! I love me some bad boy Harden; and Shane East has without a doubt THE sexiest British accent ever!!!! I will buy anything Anna Todd writes! I will also buy anything Shane East narrates. Great book series!

Missing pieces, very frustrating. Contains spoiler

I'm not through reading this book yet but I'm getting highly irritated. A number of times now the book will reference items that I don't remember reading about. Spoiler alert: The first time I truly noticed this was in Chapter 54 when Tessa came back from lunch with Trevor and Hardin was there. The book goes from the start of a fight and then within seconds she's telling him that he's the only one for her. But multiple times later they reference a fight and suddenly Hardin knows that she went on a date with Trevor. Another time was after the car crash. Suddenly she comes home with Zed driving her. However, there is no backstory to how she called him or how he ended up taking her home. Later Zed references the drive and how he told her he was dating someone. I never heard anything about this. It's like I'm missing chapters or somehow when it's a chapter with Hardin's perspective, I'm missing her POV. The book for sure needs editing but not like this. Has anyone else encounterd this?! Need to know if it's something to do with the copy I've downloaded or just bad writing. It's so irritating! I don't want to continue listening if I'm missing items.

A trash story with a trash relationship

This book is a steaming pile of hot garbage. I read the first After, and since it basically ended in the middle of a paragraph, I decided to get the second one to see where it goes. Let me tell you, I envy the dead because they don't have the the ability to listen or read this trash.

Tess and Hardin have the WORST relationship that is toxic, manipulative, and abusive. "But oh, Hardin is hot and damaged and it's my responsibility to fix him." GIRL, PLEASE. GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT LOGIC. Tess is weak and SO annoying with her inner commentary saying things like "I don't deserve to be treated like this" and then just sets herself up for it again. Like, I CANNOT. I had to force myself to finish the book, and I vowed awhile back that I would not get the next ones and I am definitely standing by that. I cannot subject myself to this kind of torture and garbage again.

Also, Shane East CLEARLY does not have an English accent and it for sure took away from everything. Like, it literally sounds like he is trying to be an English Christian Grey and it does not work at all. No dice, friends. Save yourself the credit, the sanity, and the time, because this is not worth it. It completely rivals Twilight and Fifty Shades for the worst storyline ever amongst a toxic relationship.

PS: I never yelled "finally" at the end of a book like I did with this one. Literally screamed it in my car because I couldn't take it anymore.

PSS: Zed > Hardin. That's it, end of story, contract terminated.

Highly frustrating

What would have made After We Collided better?

This book was way to long and the character of Tessa is not a likeable person ,she's a whinge and is very judgemental and amazing obtuse for a supposedly intelligent person

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I like the female narrator, however the male portrayal of the tess was not good and bought down the overall performance.

What character would you cut from After We Collided?

Ty and tess, it becomes extremely frustrating the back and forth fighting match between Hardin and Tessa and the frustration of ty thrown into the mix.

I have no idea how this series will end!!!

What about Shane East and Elizabeth Louise ’s performance did you like?

Both narrators did a great job. No complaints.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My stomach was in knots. I have no idea what is going to happen in book 3 and book 4 but I can't wait to find out.

Any additional comments?

I have no idea how this series will end and what will happen to this couple! The narrators did an amazing job. The switch in POVs happened at a great pace. The switch did not give away too much away and left enough intensity to feel everything. This was a roller coast ride, but is it wrong that even though my stomach was twisting and all the going back and forth between this couple was a complete mind (bleep) BUT I was loving it!!!

I am not saying that the characters were not driving me nuts with the fighting and the misunderstandings, etc., but that is what I love in my NA college stories.

Male narrator's performances

Elizabeth Louise could have done the whole book ,since we are use to her voice since book 1, and her HARDEN 's interpretation is really good ... all what i'm saying is Shane East has a very mature voice and it was unbearable when he try to pretend a 21 yrs old cool kid .. worst when he does Tessa... horrible actually ,
i'm not saying Shane is bad narrator ,he must be a very experienced professional in his line of work, he has good clear voice just that producers has made the wrong choice for Haden
