Description

This audiobook has been written by an UK author with a mad sense of humour. Which means the following story contains a mixture of Northern English slang, dialect, regional colloquialisms and other quirky spellings that have been intentionally included to make the story and dialogue more realistic for modern day characters.

wow!

absolutely great....the story is super interesting and the narrator is great....really enjoyed this book and can't wait to start the next one.

great story bad narration

I did enjoy the book but unfortunately had trouble getting past the Narrator..not that she was bad but she sounds like a very young adult and at times on the verge of whining..and when she did a male voice sounds like she just pinched her nose to speak.. she would do well to read books for young adults since her voice sounds like a young teen ..felt a little uncomfortable when she was speaking about adult situations...maybe will read the next myself on kindle

Terrible narration

This is the first book i have ever reviewed, and ive listened to dozens of books, and this is a tough one to put a start count towards. But i cant get over how good the story is, and how BAD the narration is!! Rebecca's regular talking voice is actually very lovely, and she would be a fantastic voice for lets say ella enchanted, but not THIS! She sounds 14, which makes the main character sound out of place since shes in her 20s and when she tries to do male voices....i cannot. Her american accents are atrocious, so bad that they dont even sound american. Ive had to put ALOT of imagination into this book when listening, just to get past it, because i really want to see how this story ends up.
