Story
The ancient magic of wizards was anything but dark. It was the enlightenment that lifted humanity from the squalor of superstition, and the worship of fell spirits and capricious gods, but those days are gone. The shining glory of the sorcerers burned away the subtlety of wisdom, replacing it with easy power, held only in the hands of the elite - a new age built upon the elemental supremacy of aristocrats and the ignorance of the masses.

But Aram is more. Much, much more. Unknown to him, Aram bears within him a gift so old and rare that many people would kill him for it, and there are others who would twist him to use for their own sinister purposes.

Story
An inn is a place to rest, a place to talk and share stories, a place to find adventure, or a starting ground for quests and legends. It is in this world, at least. To Erin Solstice, an inn seems like a medieval relic from the past. But here she is, running from Goblins and trying to survive in a world full of monsters and magic. She’d be more excited about all of this if everything wasn’t trying to kill her. But an inn is what she’s found, and so that’s what she becomes; an innkeeper, who serves drinks to heroes and monsters. Mostly monsters. But it’s a living, right?

Sullivan riveted fans with a tale of unlikely heroes locked in a desperate battle to save humankind. After years of warfare, humanity has gained the upper hand and has pushed the Fhrey to the edge of their homeland, but no farther. Now comes the pivotal moment.
Persephone’s plan to use the stalemate to seek peace is destroyed by an unexpected betrayal that threatens to hand victory to her enemy and leaves a loved one in peril. Humanity’s only hope lies in the legend of a witch, a forgotten song, and a simple garden door.

Wow (Spoilers)
Different from Age of War but still very much about relationships, this one hit me personally. Being a child of the 80's I was very much influenced by the Never Ending Story and actually traumatized by the part when Artax was swallowed by the bog. The last chapters of Age of Legend took me back there, made me feel that horror again, and made me feel like what it would have been like if I were Artax. My heart was in my throat the whole time. I mean, it was excruciating and I love that a book can still make me feel that way. The fact that this bog is a gateway and more than simple oblivion was cathartic. Wow. And now I have to wait...

That ending stops my heart.
The... ending... oh... my... word.
I could just die it's so heartbreakingly good. I want to scream.
I wasnt sure this forth book was quite as good as the first three when it started, the beginning jumps around my several years and it wasnt as compelling, though very nessasary. But... that ending. Cut my heart out why don't you.
Worth it. So worth it. Now I need book five. NOW.
