Wonderful listening!
Highly recommend this whole series. Christopher Timothy is an excellent story teller. I felt I could see the moors, the animals and the people.

A Beautifully Written and Narrated Book
I read James harriott's books when I was a young girl, and listening to them has been such a joy. This narrator is outstanding, the perfect man for the job!

Riveting!!!
This second volume of the beloved country vet is a riveting account of his many adventures. it is so endearing to animal lovers. Most of all l loved to music that added to the drama of particular moments in the book, giving it a movie-like feel. Another must-read!!

Loving this series!
Continued unique and funny stories about a vets life in rural Northern England in the forties. Based on real experiences and wonderfully narrated. I am enjoying these books immensely.

Excellent!
I read these delightful stories many years ago and am very happy I am able to listen to them on Audible. They are thoroughly enjoyable.
