Geez I’m a glutton for punishment, I should of gave up after the first book but nope I kept hoping it would get better… spoiler warning it doesn’t.
So anticlimactic! Her blood relative who basically started everything 200 years ago (or his descendant) was killed off by the witch before we even met him. Then all it took was a necklace to be broken to kill the worlds most powerful witch? Seriously?
With witches & shifters this series could of been great but the entire series was so juvenile and boring!

This series of books is not worth listening to. The performers are horrible and flat, there is no emotion behind it. That being said, they did not have good material to work with. This author is not talented at all and for some reason has a problem with contractions. You will notice very early that the characters say ‘are not’, ‘should not’, etc. instead of ‘aren’t’ and ‘shouldn’t’. The story itself is very predictable and extremely slow paced. Don’t waste you time.
