Story
There are lots of experts out there who will tell you they have the magic recipe to raising perfect humans. Gwenna Laithland is not one of them. She’s one of us. Frustrated, overwhelmed, and exhausted. Her relatable representation of parenthood validates our experiences. In Momma Cusses, Gwenna uses her signature style of snark and sarcasm to explain her interpretation of responsive parenting vs. reactive parenting and outline the steps she takes to raise her kids. Whether you are a parent or someone who has had a parent, we all need to learn how to handle our emotional spirals responsively.

So lovely! Really heartwarming!
The Princess Bride has long been a favourite of mine. It is an almost perfect movie (my only two complaints as a 7 year old girl watching it for the first time were why didn’t Buttercup hit the damn ROUS on the head when she had the chance, and why did she roll her eyes at Westley’s wry comments about the Fire Swamp. I never felt like she appreciated him as well as she should have.) And this was a delightful, moving trip down memory lane.

Wonderful book!
This was the first ever audiobook I've been able to complete. Normally I have trouble staying attentive to the narration but Cary Elwes is a superb narrator and his novel is tongue-in-cheek funny. I really enjoyed how well he told the story of the making of the Princess Bride movie from his perspective at the time, and in later chapters from his current position. Cary shared some touching stories and memorable moments that have become engraved in my mind now whenever I think if the Princess Bride. #Audible1

Wonderful
I’ve loved this movie since my first of many viewings. This book is a great accompaniment, to hear the bts stories of filming and in all the years since. It’s wonderful to hear from all involved how much they loved making the movie which has undoubtedly made it the enduring classic it has become.

Very enjoyable for Princess Bride fans
The princess bride is my favourite movie, and I very much enjoyed hearing all the details and secrets from Cary Elwes himself, hearing from some of the other people who worked on the film is a wonderful touch as well. Every time I drag my friends into watching the movie with me, I always excitedly point out little things I learned from listening to Cary's book. Even the biggest princess bride fan will learn something new from this book. #audible1

A Must-Listen for Princess Bride Fans!!!
This audiobook is absolute joy. Listeners can expect to be treated to an articulate behind-the-scenes tour of one of the best and most enduring films of all time, as recollected and told by many of the people involved in creating the cult classic.
As a fan who watches the film at least once a year, I was delighted to hear anecdotal stories of Andre the Giant, the players' processes of why and how they played their characters, as well as learn about many of the technical obstacles that were overcome by the filmmakers (and writer William Goldman) to get this movie out to the world.
Cary Elwes is the primary narrator, and most of the cast have at least a few minutes of air time. I have never listened to a book before (or since) with a smile on my face for the entire duration of the reading.
This audiobook is a gem, and left me in an almost annoyingly good mood for days after listening to it. I look forward to revisiting it.

Nostalgic
Hearing the behind the scenes stories of one of the most endearing films ever made reminded me of how much I enjoyed The Princess Bride as a child. Cary Elwes’s narration rekindled a love for the film, and I am so excited to watch it again through the eyes of my own child.
