Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author of the “twisty-mystery” (Vulture) novel In a Dark, Dark Wood, comes The Woman in Cabin 10, an equally suspenseful and haunting novel from Ruth Ware - this time, set at sea.

In this tightly wound, enthralling story reminiscent of Agatha Christie’s works, Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first, Lo’s stay is nothing but pleasant: the cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, gray skies fall, and Lo witnesses what she can only describe as a dark and terrifying nightmare: a woman being thrown overboard. The problem? All passengers remain accounted for - and so, the ship sails on as if nothing has happened, despite Lo’s desperate attempts to convey that something (or someone) has gone terribly, terribly wrong....

With surprising twists, spine-tingling turns, and a setting that proves as uncomfortably claustrophobic as it is eerily beautiful, Ruth Ware offers up another taut and intense audiobook in The Woman in Cabin 10 - one that will leave even the most sure-footed listener restlessly uneasy long after the last page is turned.

My first Ruth Ware book - It did not disappoint!

This was my first book from Ruth Wares. It was an interesting premise and I was definitely intrigued throughout. I very much enjoyed the writing style with the sporadic news reports. This was definitely a book that kept me guessing all the way through. I thought there might have been some sort of connection to the two different burglaries that were referenced, but nothing came of that- Maybe that was the point? To keep us guessing? It worked.
The most satisfying part of the book: “Is it the transaction with the reference “tiggers bounce”” 👌🏻 3.5 Stars!

Compelling drama

The narrator does a great job of making this into radio-theatre. Considering the amount of dialogue, it’s helpful in imagining the characters and interactions. The story has many twists and ends in a satisfying manner. Definitely recommend.

This book was amazing - the narrator was top notch

This book was everything that I have come to expect from Ruth Ware - I was on the edge of my seat through almost the whole thing.

The narrator was fantastic and I've found myself looking specifically for books narrated by Imogen Church, just because I enjoy her style. I look forward to listening to more of the books she's narrated!
