I came across Spinning on a Bar Stool through TikTok, and it immediately grabbed my attention. I even set aside another book just to listen. Glenda’s warmth and humor shine through, and as a bartender in BC, her personable nature makes the story feel intimate and engaging.
The memoir flows like a novel, with no wasted words. It’s emotionally rich, moving seamlessly through highs and lows, and kept me hooked from beginning to end. I went in with high expectations after reading the description and other reviews, but this audiobook exceeded them in every way.
