Easy Listening

Great listen
Hardly knew who this guy was before starting this book. An excellent personal account on aging that is entertaining, sincere and informative.

Very good.
Dick VanDyke is one of my favorites, so perhaps my view is a little biased, but I enjoyed this book. He put a lot of thought into it; it is very accurate, and valid.

Its like listening to your grandfather reminisce
This was one of the best stories I have heard in a long time and yes id rather call it a story than anything else, since it reminds me of listening to my grandparents and older family reminisce about the past and memories that made them laugh. Being delivered by Dick himself just topped it with whip cream cherry sprinkles AND chocolate sauce, it just warmed my heart and soul.
I reccommend this for pretty much anyone who needs a good story, life tips, a laugh, is bored, or just need somthing on in the background. Im not even 30 but some of the things I heard in this are somethings we needed to be hearing in school, or at least 25 when your starting to really enter the adult world.

Enduring Wisdom
Mr. Van Dyke will always be with us with his movies and TV shows, and this book is a wonderful addition to the legacy. His honesty is so appealing. His guidance on what it takes to adjust to aging is something I now have added to my consciousness. I think I have now listened to it 3 times and that probably won’t be the end. Worth ever $$$.

Such an Inspiration on how to live life!
What a life DVD has lived and continues to do so. Such good lessons and tips on ageing happy and well. It was really lovely to hear his voice too.

It's a jolly Holiday!
In 2022, Dick is still alive at 96.
At some points I wanted to call to tell him to adhere his dentures better, but I was glad I got to listen. It's not really listed as a biography, more of a manual for staying healthy as you travel around the sun, but it serves just the same.
