Hi angst with deep inflection

There have been so many times durring my many trips through the BDB world that make me take stock in real life. This book was way high on the feels for me. I am always blowen away by how JR Ward can loop story lines and merge characters paths together. I don't always see it as its happening but usually find myself going back and forth to re read or listen to parts over again once it clicks into place to look at it from the new perspective. Though I will say the bonus interview at the end of this book has been my all time favorite part.

Many many thanks to both JR and Jim for keeping the BDB family part of my family

JR Ward has done it again

4.5 Blue Roses
4 Blue Flames
O my goodness this was good! It felt a little stretched out at times. But, still JR Ward has such great talent. I had some seriously LOL moments, people next to me thought I was going crazy.
Where does she get all the wayward and yet so original stuff she comes up with? The comparisons and statements are so in line with a stand up comedy. Her murder scenes are dark, bloody and highly descriptive. Everything is done with such an outrageousness, it's almost laughable, but it is not. Because it's murder and murder is not funny, right?

Jim Frangione brings this all to life and I cannot stop myself from listening to this in one sitting. I do miss the paranormal side, like Lassiter. I hoped he would appear at least once.
The sexy times are hot and not overly done. Boone sounds very sexy and I just love Jim Frangiones' voice for our vampires. He does not do a big variety of voices and seemed to have lost Butch's New York accent. I rather loved Butch' voice New Yorky.

If your a BDB fan, don't miss this audiobook.
Happy Listening.
