Publisher's Summary

Heart pounding and laugh out loud funny, USA Today best-selling author K.F. Breene will take you on a magical joy ride you won't soon forget.

Supernatural Bounty Hunter isn't the sort of thing you see on LinkedIn. But with a rare type of magic like mine, I don't have many options. Dangerous or not, the job is mine. And it was going fine, until an old-as-sin vampire stole my mark, and with it, my pay day. Knowing I'm poor and desperate, he has offered me a job. I'll have to work by his side to help solve a top secret case. Everyone knows not to trust vampires. Especially a hot elder vampire. But without any other jobs coming up, I'm stuck. As I uncover a web of lies and treachery, revealing an enemy I didn't know existed, the truth of my identity is threatened. I might make it out alive, only to end up in a gilded cage.

Such an amazing start!

I've heard a lot about the DDVN books, but until now, time had been missing to finally get to reading the series. I'll be honest: I fell in love with Reagan, and in lust with Darius from the start. The story was great, compelling, hilarious. Some of Queen Breene's finest. Add to that Nicole Poole's impeccable narration and I was conquered.

Loved the characters! Loved the series.

K. F. Breen's ability to bring her characters to life and allow the reader to really get a sense of their personalities is excellent.

She also creates lead characters who possess an inner strength with just the right amount of vulnerability. The kick-butt female lead, Regan, of K. F. Breen's books is refreshingly self assured and not plagued with debilitating internal dialogue of self-doubt that can ruin a strong lead character turning them 'whiney'.

Throughout the series we get to see more and more of Regan's entertaining personality.

Nicole Poole does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life and conveying the personalities K. F. Breen created.

why is the headline both optional AND required?

great story. a couple of weird and repetitive words choices but overall enjoyable! ex: "I moved closer to see more closely. " lol darn editors.
