Drafted to play for the Jacksonville Sea Storm, an NHL affiliate, 20-year-old Lane Courtnall's future looks bright, apart from the awkwardness he feels as a gay man playing on a minor league hockey team. But they're at different points in their careers, and both men will have to decide what they value most.

Loved it

I’m really glad I listened to this! I found the characters hilarious and adorable. Lane was a lovely boy and I’m curious if he has Asperger’s syndrome. I liked the way their relationship came together and how sweet they both were about it.

The narrator was great as usual!

Lane Courtnall is the best.

I absolutely loved this book, and Lane is so completely adorkable in his weirdness and cluelessness. I loved his rather indomitable spirit and how it affected those around him. I don't think I've giggled this much at a book on a long time. I can't wait to take on the next one, since I also loved Riley. (And Jared. and Zoe. And even Ryan.)
