Publisher's Summary

Only the phenomenal Nora Roberts could have created the remarkable Donovan clan. Fascinating and irresistible, the mysterious Donovan cousins share a secret that's been handed down through generations - a secret that sets them apart from ordinary beings.

Captivated
His interest in her was purely professional...or so he told himself. Nash Kirkland had sought out Morgana Donovan, self-proclaimed witch, to help him research his latest screenplay. The hardheaded skeptic didn't believe for a minute she was what she professed to be, but Nash somehow found himself falling under her bewitching spell. Nash had never trusted his feelings. How could he be sure the irresistible passion he felt was real and not just some conjurer's trick?

Entranced
Obviously Sebastian Donovan was a fraud, but fiercely protective Mary Ellen Sutherland was desperate to find a missing baby and had run out of leads. So, reluctantly, the skeptical private investigator agreed to enlist Sebastian's help. Soon she had to admit - grudgingly - that this man had some pretty remarkable gifts. Especially his extraordinary ability to penetrate her tough facade and awaken her heart.

I wish I read the reviews before I made this purch

The first story was not a story at all. The only event that happened was Nash's mother called.
Nash's voice sounded like a 12 year old boy.
The pregnant pauses were constant and poorly placed.
The 2nd was a better story with an interesting woman. Again, Sebastian voice was grating.
I watch Hallmark so I'm pretty easy to please,
I would suggest there are far better Nora Robert's books available.

what a disappointment!

I only listened to the first half hour. I found it stilted and trite. This was not my cup of tea at all!

Good Book

I don’t usually read or listen to books that have stories about witches but once I started listening to this one it was such a good story that I got caught up in it and really enjoyed it. The narration is outstanding.

Please get the sequel here at Audible!

I love the 4 books in this series - this one is the first two, the next book is entitled Charmed & Enchanted and is the story of the two other cousins. Morgana and Sebastian find their loves in this volume - I really want the companion volume too! Love Nora Roberts!

Witches in love

Just finished listening to the first book. It was a OK light romance, not one of NR's best but still fun. I don't think the main character needed to be a witch for this story, it wasn't really used effectively. I am, however, listening to the 2nd book and liking it a lot better, so far.

Finished Entranced and found I liked Sebastian's story better! I like the way their relationship developed as they investigated the child abduction ring.

To tell the truth the most intersting people were the main character's unique parents. Made me want to read about thier story!

Typical Nora Roberts

This is actually two stories in one. Both stories are good altho I enjoyed the second one more. The reader was also much better narrating the second story. The first one was read with a bit too much drama, each word emphasized a bit too much. I really enjoy Nora Roberts books and this one, over all, was another good one.

Great for taking a nap

Terrible book that just has very little in plot and the characters are poorly developed. The male “hottie” is groping & kissing a perfect stranger just in the first few days of meeting, then the female “hottie” is declaring her love for him & I have no idea why she would be interested in him after a few meetings/interviews that are predictable snoozefests. What little conversation they have is not enticing, funny, nor witty. I gave up on this waste of time & money by chapter 8 and that’s pretty rare for me. The only positive is the narrator Therese Plummer. She’s wonderful and I love her other performances, but honestly Nora Roberts didn’t give her much to work with in this book.

Over reed

This reader more appropriately should be reading to K or 1st graders. Nora Roberts can stand alone without stressing so very many words.

Deserves maybe a 1/2 star

Can't finish it. I don't know what's worse, the story (there isn't one) or the narrator. Another credit wasted. Wish I could listen to some of these first so I didn't waste my money!
