Publisher's Summary

Carnage is now a number-one best seller in Dystopian Science Fiction, number one in War and Military Action Fiction, and an Amazon overall Top 100 best seller.

Alpha team looks the devil in the eye.

After recovering Patient Zero, Alpha must escape Africa to end the ZA once and for all. But they can feel the hot breath of a reinforced and vengeful Spetsnaz team on their necks - and there can be no escaping the reckoning of an ultimate sniper showdown between Ali and Vasily, and an incomparably brutal iron-cage Texas death match between Predator and Misha. For the first time, all the teams will come together and must fight as brothers for any chance of making it back to Britain. And only one thing is certain - not everyone is walking away from this one.

One Troop rallies against decimation and defeat.

After rescuing Aliyev, One Troop is pinned down in Red Square between a surging singularity and the merciless killers of Spetsnaz Alfa Group. They're about to lose their second aircraft, they still don't have the zombie-killing MZ, and the clock is ticking down on their pinhole of escape. Only the most vicious and desperate gambit can give them a chance of saving London, not to mention themselves - but Jameson refuses to fail.

The crew of the Kennedy battles back.

With the bridge and most critical stations held by the world's deadliest maritime commando force and Dr. Park pinned down by a smash-mouth battle and last stand in the ship's hospital, time is running out for the shell-shocked and outgunned crew of the JFK to fight back. The ultimate heroism and sacrifice of everyone from storekeepers all the way up to Commander Drake himself will be required to fight their way back from the brink....

Defiance. Valor. Consecration. Carnage.

Great

I'm only leaving a rating because audible will not allow rating only book reviews.

Too many quotes

Although the story is still good the author spends half the time digging up movie quotes to put in. At first this was amusing but at this point it just seems like filler. Instead of coming up with his own material he just wall papers the recording with everyone else's. It feels like every character is somehow a movie buff. I could understand a few times but everyone, all the time? I don't really imagine a group of high end operators spending their downtime always watching movies.

Excellent!!!

Nonstop action! When you think it can't get better...it does. RC Bray brings Fuchs characters to life. Great story, awesome narration!

Held out as long as I could....

I was pretty deep into the series financially and time wise. I held on hoping for a turnaround. I ended up cheering for the Russians and the Zombies, hoping all the main characters would get wiped out.

This whole thing ought to have been wrapped up within the first six books. The last six have been virtually the exact same cycle over and over again as I have previously detailed.

Can’t get enough.

I’m of two minds regarding this series.

With the constant action and forward momentum of the plot, it’s never boring. Great characters and dialogue with plot that doesn’t so much grab my attention as it does wrap it in Predator’s bear hug. I would hate for this story to end. Add to that the pitch perfect voice acting by Bray and there is no reason anybody would want to see an end to this tale.

But... waiting for the next chapters are torture. If there was some finality to the series I could rest easy knowing I could blast through the whole series and feel that satisfying end of the journey. Even though there are no cliffhangers, I always have to refresh by going back to the previous book after a long stretch.

When this series inevitably comes to a close I will be marathoning the whole thing so I can have the entire experience in one stream. I’ve forgotten much of the earlier books and so I’m missing out on the full impact.

I might be addicted to the adrenaline rush.
