With so much riding on innovation, creativity, and spark, it is essential to attract and retain quality talent, but what good does this talent do if no one is able to speak their mind? The traditional culture of "fitting in" and "going along" spells doom in the knowledge economy. Success requires a continuous influx of new ideas, new challenges, and critical thought, and the interpersonal climate must not suppress, silence, ridicule, or intimidate.

This book changed my life.
I read this book for the first time in my twenties - and it truly changed my life. How I approach others, how I treat myself. It helped me develop my inner coach and help others around me too. I was feeling a bit lost at work and in life again in my 30s, and while I could not find the time to read it again, I was able to listen to it in this audiobook on my commute. I am so glad I took the time to reintroduce myself to this classic. A must read/listen. Everyone I’ve shared it with over the years has also appreciated its advice.

GAME CHANGER
The concepts in this book have completely changed my entire life. I'm an Enneagram 1, so being judgemental of others is where I live. I mostly don't express it, but until I read this book I never realized how those thoughts influenced my attitudes towards others and probably the vibe I was putting off. Thinking "how else can I think about this person/situation?" has done wonders to combat that judgmental flaw in my personality. My leaders at work have also taken note and I've begun experimenting with Question Storming with great clarity results already.

Good resource for coaching & self development
Would you listen to Change Your Questions, Change Your Life again? Why?
Yes. I really like the questioning approach. As natural "problem-solver" I found some of the stories familiar and some of the techniques applicable.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The case studies appeared very simple and not reflecting real business challenges.
Did Anna Crowe do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
In the beginning it was difficult to connect with the reader: female voice describing a male character.
What did you learn from Change Your Questions, Change Your Life that you would use in your daily life?
Self awareness - Observe better. Coaching techniques using questions.
Any additional comments?
Getting a PDF file with the workbook and other resources would be great. I was unable to download from the website without creating an account with them.
