A must

I absolutely loved this. It's very rare to have butch woman in books. Not to mention Reagans mom reminds me of how my mother was with me. Loved this one.

Love the book...then you should love the audio

I loved the story when I first read it and when the audio became available I figured why the hell not. I liked the narrator (who did the Providence Series by Radclyffe) and we all know narrators can definitely break an audio. I highly recommend and loved it.

Another Good One

Another good love story from this author; sure there are certain aspects of this story that are de riguer, but the writing and the characters make up for that. Reagan is recovering from the tragic death of a friend and three colleagues in Afghanistan. Shelby is an hotel executive at the resort where her sister and Reagan's brother are throwing a wedding that lasts two weeks. The mother of the bride is a social climbing monster-in-law who finds it impossible to accept that her older daughter is gay and spends the second week of the wedding throwing the best man at her. Perhaps my family is different than most but Shelby and Stephanie's overbearing mother would have met with a lot more resistance than she did.
It was a nice change that the main characters in the book weren't a couple of the demi virgins that romance novelists both straight and gay seem to cling to. I also find it a positive that there was no overly convoluted breakup scene somewhere between 80 and 90% of the way through the book. You know the one, the misunderstanding/miscommunication breakup where no one speaks about their real feelings and a short split occurs that in the end only forces the couple to realize that they are destined to be together.
The ending feels a little bit abrupt but overall this book is easily a 4 star selection.

You will like this book Another Hill Hit.

This book was really cute, it had realistic family dynamics , great interaction between characters, it was a bit frustrating to have the two main characters wait so long before communication finally happened. I would say it's definitely a book to read.

Enjoyable

I quite liked this story and the characters. I don't feel like I want to listen to it again though.

Who say only fools fall in love? Two smart sexy woman also do as fools and future brides do!

The setting her sister's wedding in Colorado, at a resort hotel at the bottom of Rocking Mts. National park. A Christmas wedding that the bride's mother has turned into a all expense paid two week event instead of the simple Christmas family only one evening event they had planned. The mother is into every detail. Which leads to much comedy when she is up against the groom's sister, who does not wear dresses not even bridesmaid ones, she is willing to wear a tuxedo though. Anyway since the groom's sister and the bride's sister are also both gay sparks fly, most from the bride's mother. Still there is no stopping true love, not ever the scars of the past.

Needs editing

Every other sentence ended with he/she said - boring way to write. Felt as if the author just had a word count to meet.

Crummy ending

I would have liked to actually hear about the wedding not just that they are getting married

I don’t want to hear details about the sex.

More focus on the story less about sex

Also why does all her characters have someone with short hair and butch

Why can’t they be feminine

Lastly get a better reader. This reader makes me picture ugly smoker short butch women

Not my favorite

I have liked some Gerri Hill books, but this one was so slow. It felt like there were too many side stories and then suddenly it wrapped up in the last 10-20 minutes. Just felt forced.
