I love how it mentions key elements that are unique to fat black women’s experiences and how that shows up in the MC’d inner dialogue or in comments that people around her make. I loved the depth of the characters as well, Ahmed is swoon worthy! And the amount of times I wanted to shake Aliyah by the shoulders were more than I can count but I was invested! I also found the fact that she is a confident black woman who stands up for herself refreshing!
The performance was great with variations between female and male characters. The emotions were also well expressed. Well done! Im surprised there aren’t more ratings yet!
