Chicago lawyer Ben Corbin has just launched his private practice when Dr. Mikhail Ivanovsky, a mysterious Russian scientist, hires him to sue for possession of a safe deposit box. The narrator did a great job but as other reviews have mentioned, we are introduced to too many new characters throughout the book. The lack of character development makes it feel superficial. I didn’t really care about any of them by the end. I think the plot is a cool idea but the way it’s fleshed out was very difficult for me to fully engage with.
