A wedding and murder!

Good and interesting plot line. Really didn’t guess the murderer until revealed. Great to meet Kate’s family. A few have commented on the accent on the Thai lady, I don’t know enough to distinguish but trust they are probably right. Might want to keep an eye on stereotypes for older women. Is it personality (the hat, the Fanny pack, the Umbrella) or is it making her look a bit foolish. One other moment that jarred a bit is when her mom asked who would inherit and the father sort of chuckles and says trust you to follow the money (or some such). So women are always after the money? Just keep an eye. Besides those two little comments I did like the story and the narration and will continue with the series.

great series

have read and also listened to all this series. Kate remains too adventurous at times without thinking things through although not so much in this book. her mother is stupid, silly and obnoxious. no wonder her husband divorced her. 0

Warmly recommend this light mystery series

Well-plotted with a great setting and well-developed characters--as have all the books in this series. These are enjoyable, light, fast mysteries that do a fine job of immersion. The author really knows her craft. I hope she writes more that follow Kate and Alex, perhaps with a year's gap in their lives. The narrator is quite superb.

My only "complaint" is Alexa, who often paused reading when the narrator said "Alex" and sometimes didn't resume...though that is better than saying "There is no rain expected..." when I say, "Alexa, READ". Alexa could stand to improve a great deal. But Sara Rosett and Sarah Mollo-Christensen are just right.

Good series, really enjoyed.

Clean mysteries, likeable characters, good stories, good narration, very enjoyable. I have now listened to all of this author's audiobooks, but there was one series that only had the first book available. I wish the other books in that series were available on Audible.

Love the Wedding

I can't wait for the next book!
Love the wedding, love the "double murder!"
Series is getting better with each book, we are learning more about each characters back story; family, childhood, past boyfriends/girlfriends, etc
The books are well written!🙂

Wonderful Addition to the Series

Great mystery Great Narration. Sara Rosett is one of my new Favorite Authors. She does not rely on Violence,
Bad Language or Sex to carry the plot along. I Hope there is another book in this series. Her other series is great too.
