Publisher's Summary
Are you a minimalist or an essentialist? Did you ever think about this question? At first sight, they may seem like the same thing, but they are not.
So, which one is the best? Which one is the most suitable path to follow to live a meaningful and stress-free life?
Well, there is no better choice, only what is the best for you.
Don’t put your attention to what it means to be a minimalist or an essentialist. They are just words which we use to generalize things together.
Put your attention to how to solve your problems and seize useful information from both methods basing on the ones that work for you in order to improve your life.
Minimalism and essentialism are not closed compartments where all the rules must be followed.
For this reason, Martin and Ingrid decided to create this bundle for you.
You should not only know what minimalism or essentialism are, you should also know how they can help you to gain more time, space, and strength to be there for the people, events, and experiences that truly matter in your life.
This book is about finding the right balance between who you want to be and the people whom you have to deal with.
Thanks to Martin and Ingrid’s experiences you can get something from Martin’s book, Essentialism: Do Less but Accomplish More, Guide to Identifying the Essential Things, Focus on and Getting Them Done and from Ingrid’s book, Minimalism: The Practical Guide to Declutter Your Life and Replace the Mindless Stuff with Time, Experiences and Meaningful Relationships.
You will learn:

- How to get rid of distractions.
- How to improve your overall quality of life.

So, what are you waiting for?
If you are checking this book, it is because you feel that something could be improved in your life.
What are you hesitating about? Come and learn how you can get the most out of the minimalist mindset in your life.
After all, you only have one life to lead. If you don’t make the most out of it, you might miss out on some of the most wonderful experiences in your life.

This title offers a solid treatment of the mindset
This title offers a solid treatment of the mindset behind minimalism. I would have liked a bit more practical advice and the book was repetitive at times. Still, a good intro to the subject.

What do you have against the Japanese?
The Minimalism part was ok, nothing I didn’t already know from other better minimalism books.
I had a real problem with the Essentialism part. I’d like to see author Martin G. Hell take some advice from his own writing and pick up a book or 2 about Japanese culture.
Hell writes, “Essentialism is not about living like Japanese folks who don’t even own a bed”... news flash! It’s called a tatami and futon! Just because it’s not in the same western way of things does not make it any less “right”.
Hell writes, “Essentialism is not about owning 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts like the Japanese, it’s inherently depressing.” Sorry, but wtf kind of comment is that?
Don’t waste your time...

Wow!
I read this book post-maturely. I’ve been on this journey into minimalism for quite some time now. I am a fan of their podcasts and seem to find more value in that.
