In orbit, a group of scientists are running the Winter Experiments, a last-ditch attempt to understand why the planet is cooling. None of the climate models they build make sense. But then they discover an anomaly, an unexplained variation in solar radiation...and something else. Story
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Publisher's Summary
En route to London from New York, Flight 305 suddenly loses power and crash-lands in the English countryside, plunging a group of strangers into a mysterious adventure that will have repercussions for all of humankind.
Struggling to stay alive, the survivors soon realize that the world they've crashed in is very different from the one they left. But where are they? Why are they here? And how will they get back home?
Five passengers seem to hold clues about what's really going on: writer Harper Lane, venture capitalist Nick Stone, German genetic researcher Sabrina Schröder, computer scientist Yul Tan, and Grayson Shaw - the son of a billionaire philanthropist.
As more facts about the crash emerge, it becomes clear that some in this group know more than they're letting on - answers that will lead Harper and Nick to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy involving their own lives. As they begin to piece together the truth, they discover they have the power to change the future and the past - to save our world...or end it.

Too Much of a Romance Novel
Not really my cup of tea. I like the action and the intrigue but I found myself wishing the end would come. It seemed too much of a romance novel for me.

Awesome!
Totally enjoyed both the story and narrators! Really good drama, with some conflict and a little pinch of love. I think it may appeal to women more than men, but I could be wrong. #Audible1

Suspend your disbelief
What if you could have insight into the future? What if you knew that a seemingly innocent, well intended decision today would lead to chaos tomorrow?
I can easily see this story as a movie, so from that perspective it is a bit formulaic and predictable. Others have pointed out a similar feel to "Lost" (the 1st couple of seasons anyway). Really though, this is a story about decisions. How we make them and why. What unforseen consequences might a decision hold?
I liked both narrators and the 1st person perspective. I'd add this to any junior high to adult reader's list who has an interest in sci-fi, adventure/action, Lost or Butterfly Effect fans.

Interesting story
For the most part, this was a pleasant listen. I enjoyed the characters and I found the storyline completely easy to follow. Now I’m looking to see if there is a sequel. That’s always a good sign. 😁

Excellent story that kept me very interested for about three quarters of the book. Then it was a bit boring for awhile before I started to lose interest in their love life or dating short falls Then it was over and I was glad.
