Publisher's Summary
Four geological scientists go missing in the Swiss Alps when they apparently wander into Arimaspi territory. It is up to the Mad Dogs to retrieve them, because the whole situation stinks of the Organization.
However, it's not Organization operatives the Mad Dogs encounter but the Watcher, who is obsessed with the Unit, especially its newest member.

Another Great Audiobook
Not only is Brenda Cothern's Mad Dog series one of my favorites, but hearing the story told through the narration of Michael Vasicek mashed it that much better! If you haven't read the series, I highly recommend getting this audibook and listening to the whole series.

Action & character-building, little sex
2.75 overall. This story didn't work for me, and it's simply because it had less sex and no romance than I prefer. Still there were intense bonded-mate non-sexual reactions. But if you're in the mood for a story that's more militia action with a small group of 6 werewolves combatting other paranormal creatures & with brief sexual encounters (in this story 3 that were described; others alluded to or thought about), then this story is right up your alley. The action is a little shooting and a little fighting in wolf form. The rest is just the narrative, giving some details about the characters. It's not bad, but it depends on what you're looking for.
And the narrator does an ok job, a great job with accents, but many of the Mad Dogs sound the same.
