Publisher's Summary
In Developing Lean Leaders at all Levels we build on the theory in the original book, The Toyota Way to Lean Leadership, and answer the questions: How can I apply this in my organization? What concrete actions can I take to begin the journey of becoming a lean leader? How can I spread this learning to all parts of the organization? What critical tools are needed to turn the theory to practice? This book adds examples from over twenty years of experience by Dr. Liker in working with companies outside of Toyota. This audiobook treats you as a student who will be actively engaged in developing lean leader skills as you read. It acts as a tutorial for beginning the journey!

For the advanced LSS GB or new BB
The lessons and stories within this book are a great high level view of the expectations and future focus of seasoned LSS GBs and new BBs. This high level view provides a road map to help develop and guide LSS belts to future individual and organizational long term success. A must read for LSS belts continuing education and development.

Terrible, Distracting Narration
What made the experience of listening to Developing Lean Leaders at All Levels the most enjoyable?
The content of the book is pretty decent, but the narration was the worst I have ever heard. Another review compared it to the computer generated audio of a 1980s computer. I think that is a pretty good description. Siri or Cortana would have sounded much more human than this actual human narrator.
How could the performance have been better?
I had my friend who is a musician listen to the audio to tell me if he knew why it sounded so bad. He guessed that the audio had been run through some sort of pitch correcting software which had the effect of making the human narrator sound like a really bad computer generated narration.
Any additional comments?
Rerecord the book and let Siri read it...

For those beginning their journey
Very high level covering many topics. Not enough details in any given topic to apply without further research or hiring a consultant. It would be a good book to help formulate a vision for a company just starting their Lean Journey,

Continuing to enjoy the Toyota Way series of books
All of the books I have read so far from Jeffrey Liker have been very influential on my thinking about management/leadership. The books are fantastic. I am now listening to Developing Lean Leaders at All Levels for the second time and I am continuing to pick up principles that change the way I think about lean and leadership. A big thank you to Jeffrey Liker and George Trachilis for this addition to the Toyota Way series.

Repetitive
A good book and very useful unless you have read the authors precious work, in which case don't bother as it is really just a summary of everything before.
