Cringe
The narration is so bad. I can’t finish this book. It’s so painful. The male is the worst. The female is barely manageable but the male is just. So. Bad 🫣

Cringe
Yes it was cringe the whole way. I did listen to the end but the sex scenes had me rolling my eyes so hard I’m sure I looked like a zombie.

Story is OK but the narration is awful.
The female narrator has a really odd way of speaking for the main character. The inflection used is very distracting and annoying.

horrible narration
I'm really trying with this book. I've heard good things about this author but I'm struggling with this one. The narration is so awful. Both male and female in my opinion. It's really wreaking the book for me. The dialog between characters feels like it was written by a school child at times and though all the other reviews say it's a really good story (the only reason I'll continue to listen at this point) I'm having trouble enjoying the storyline at all because of the narration. Really hope this turns around.

absolutely a great read it keeps you intrigued the whole way. the Romance sense are so steamy I loved this book. the narrators were fantastic.

Horrid narration
I can’t even get past the first chapter. It can have the best story line, but the narration is so patchy. Every single syllable of every single word is annunciated for what seems like attitude or sass, but it adds absolutely no value. In all honesty the narration of chapter 1 takes away from the book and I can’t finish it. I tried to speed it up and that made it worse. My ears are angry with me for making them listen to something so unpleasant.

Great Story Ruined by Bad Narrator
The story is good. Just what I like, though I would have enjoyed seeing the nerdy librarian role played up a bit more, overall it was good. The female narrator was great. She did a good job with the voices and I enjoyed her parts. The male narrator made my skin crawl. His voice was a bit nasally and had a lisp and then when he tried to talk dirty at one point it just came out sleazy and definitely NOT hot. Idk what they were thinking with this guy. Terrible choice.
So overall good, but maybe read instead of listen to and I’m going to avoid books narrated by Curt Bonnem going forward.

eh... poor male narrator voice. story needs more.
First let me say, I'm writing this response only halfway through the story. I haven't completed yet and not sure if I have enough attention span to keep interested...
I love audio books that have dual narrators (male/female)... however, this male narrator was just not conveying the story.
to be fair, I also think the book and characters lacked development and substance. some of the character interactions came off as cringe worthy...
The idea behind the book was nice.. I think it just needs more development.
advise: wait to purchase book until it's on sale... then it'd be worth listening too.. but even though I already purchased it I'm just not sure I can finish.

Just Don’t
Full disclosure, my sister and I ran through this, because heckling is one of life’s simple joys. That said, as poor as the writing is, the narration was worse. Among a myriad of foibles I think the most damming was the fact that I was left unsure if the author actually had any adult female friendships to draw on. Gal and her roommates read more like what a 12 year old imagines adult female friendships are like, rather than any resemblance to the real thing.
I’ll stop here by saying that this is a book definitely best consumed with a bottle of wine and a friend to laugh with.

Worst narration ever
Typical werewolf romance story. it could be a little vulgar at times. The narration was just bad the different voices didn’t work sometimes it was robotic and monotone other times it sounded like when a boy‘s voice is changing The female voice sounded snobbish & unconvincing. I don’t know if I’ll continue after this first one

It was ok
No matter how much I wanted to like and get into this story/book something just wasn’t there.😞 The details was everything I wanted it to be a curvy, cute geeky girl falls for a hot, hunky, smart alpha wolf and vice versa. They have some smart and cheesy flirty lines but it’s maybe too cheesy at times.🙄 I wanted to like this book so much it’s been on my phone for weeks as I try to struggle through chapters to finish listening to it. 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Gal is extremely smart, cute, sheltered, fun, down to earth heroine! Max is a strong, sexy, funny, alpha wolf. They were definitely cute together, and I will also say as the story progressed and the plot finally developed things got better so, in the end it wasn’t the worst.
The narration was pretty decent…I won’t read again.
