Very informal

I just finished this audio and it holds a lot of information; good information. I do plan to give it a second listen and I am investing in reading more do gundry’s work.

Promising ideas but unrealistic

I watched a U Tube interview on Dr Gundry and decided to buy his book. Although he has very interesting ideas, his diet call for permanently removing all sugars, all fruits, all flours........ which is utterly impossible. I would suggest reading The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung instead. He conclusively proves that intermittent fasting is what we humans were built for .

Good tips but….

Books offers good tips, but a lot less relying upon science than other books. Somewhat repetitive and light. Still a good read.

not recommended

bought this book got partway into it and wished that I had not bought it. Wish I would have realized I could have returned it before it was too late. I know I have a year to do it, however I found that out just after it was too late.

Great advice for healthy eating and living

Brilliantly sets the frame for how to look at living a healthy life over a longer lifespan. The narrator is superb and empathetic. Dr Gundry's more up-to-date thoughts are in Plant Paradox, which is a more technical book, so this is the better one to start with, even if it's a decade old. I followed Dr Gundry's advice and have lost 28 pounds (all fat) over the past five months and feel fantastic. A life changing book -- strongly recommended!!
