I m in love with the MC life I found this story very interested I enjoy the narrated I also like her present in the MC world and how her didn’t loss herself in the life she is still strong and I really appreciate Dex story and the way he still kept his mom in his life even though she was a real piece of work!!

For a book based in Australia, the narrator could have at least done an Aussie accent.

It's okay. It's an entertaining read and it works for what it is - a romance. I'm glad it was just over 5 hours. I don't think I couldn't have handled more of it. But I did enjoy the 5 hours even though I had to constantly remind myself that this is a fantasy (not a genre, but as in it would not happen this way in real-world). I would say this is a good fast-food book. It satisfies something, kind of enjoyable when you read it, and leaves you feeling a little guilty for reading it. I probably will not be continuing the series but I can see myself coming back to it when I need a fast-food pick-me-up.

So, everyone likes McDonald’s fries. They’re not amazing, They’re just good when they are hot and fresh. You don’t need a large, because by the time you get 1/2 through you’re pretty much just eating them because they’re there- you’re not really enjoying them anymore. It’s just too much.

This book had some good moments for me, definitely a good performance. But there is no way that I could truly believe the male lead had any redeeming factors that a smart up and coming lawyer would actually want.

It’s just fantasy. And really unbelievable one at that, but hey - it’s fine.

Once and a while I suppose.

There are just better options out there that will be delicious all the way through.

the preformer has an amazing talent and the author is fantastic! i hate when half waybthrough the book they fight their love together, this book didn't have any of that crap! the problums in their relationship where realistic and the love you felt for the characters was beautiful.
