Resentment. Fear. Self-pity. Intolerance. Anger. As Bill P. explains, these are the "rocks" that can sink recovery - or at the least, block further progress. Great explanation of Steps 6 & 7
Loved the examples given to better clarify steps 6 and 7. Anyone in any kind of 12 step program could benefit from listening to this book. The narrator repeats at times but you'll get the gist.

Sad to say
I stopped listening because the timing and flow between lines is terribly done. I don't think it was the narrator, but editing. the message is wonderful but truly annoying to listen to.

great content. terrible delivery
Addiction is struggle enough! Why make the narration of this helpful text so terrible that it is a slog to make it through?
The content is powerful and usually I do well listening to books, but the reading here is almost unbearable. The cadence is robotic and distractingly disjointed - like AI reading to me.
