lovely listen.

Davina Porter does it justice. A great listen. Even for a novel that equates 44 hours, the time flies by.

A Continuance!

I have LOVED this series so far. I found the third book ended on a happy open ended note. You could leave it as it was or continue.
The fourth book, Drums of Autumn, was a bit slower of a read(listen) than the first three, but it's still really good. I feel like this book is ramping up after the climax of the first three books. Once you get into the fifth book, you're all ears again!!

Another Great Book By Diana Gabaldon

I was not at all surprised that I loved this book as much as I loved the first three of the series. The prefect blend of mystery, romance and adventure. Davina Porter did an excellent job narrating this book, her French was flawless and her Gaelic was swoon worthy. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Never tire of these stories - Wonderful.

Diana Gabaldon is a great story teller. I have read these books for years. She has that wonderful ability to put you right in the middle of the action.
Davina Porter has impressed me with her narration for both different mens and womens voices and accents as well as children and languages. She has now added singing to her repertoire for this book.
Both of these ladies skills compliment each other and make these stories a pleasure. Looking forward to the next book.

excellent book series

An intriguing continuation of the addictive series "Outlander". Every book in the series leaves me wanting more and I can't wait for the next stage of the story to begin. I love the #audible 1 app. this affords all of us people who are too busy to sit down and read a book of 900 plus pages to still be able to enjoy all the details while finishing chores around the house or driving.
