great narration mediocre story telling

the narrator puts on a decent performance but the writer does a poor job with the story. the book is supposed to revolve around conquering dungeons but most of them boil down to a single boss fight. could have been a much better story if the dungeons had more depth and maybe a few gods actually being a challenge.
