This book is a playful conversation about the new way to live, lead, earn, and give. It is a collection of insights and ideas about how we can, and how we are, changing the world. It's an invitation to the New Superheroes - the people all over the world who give a shit about each other and our earth - to lighten up in our work as game changers. It's a time stamp so that our kids and their kids can hear it and say, "oh, so that's what you were growing through back then."
The New Way is not just about having more money at the end of the month. Success as we'd been taught isn't sufficient. Success to our generation looked and felt completely different to what it looked and felt like to generations before us. The religious separation that our parents' generation know is torturing our hearts. Our planet isn't a place for us to holiday, but a place of permanent residence with the requirement that we nurture and love our Mother Earth as our one collective mother. There is no "top" when it comes to leadership, but instead we're all about the power of tribe. We don't care to move forward at lightning speed, but would rather to stop and go back to our indigenous roots and ensure that ancient wisdoms are never forgotten. Taking care of our brothers and sisters who are without basic necessities is the only way we all win. Play is everything.
We're here to change the world, but we've gotta stop taking it so seriously.
We're here to use our talents and abilities to create epic shit, but we've gotta stop missing the point along the way. It's time for us to thrive like no generation before us ever has.
It's time for us to show the world how good it's really meant to be.

So on point for the new way to live, lead and earn!
I loved the rawness, the insight and the way PK is able to put into words so much of how many millennials feel. I’m on the elder end of the age group but it still speaks very much to how I live and where my values lie, which is so different than how we were raised to define success. My favourite take away was how she’s spins many of today’s early truths and realities with positivity simply because we are wired differently, we will live differently and we will leave Earth better than we came into it.

amazing listen
A very empowering concept executed in an accessible piece of literature for young listeners. The emphasis on the reader/listener and their individuality makes the content of the book tailored by each persons own values and experiences. This is an amazing read with my only small complaint being that the liberal use of cusses and slang gets old to listen to (especially in a book that gets you into such a profound headspace!)

lots of solid advice, easy to connect with
I connected right away with what the author was saying. Helpful tips and tricks within sight that we can apply directly to our own lives to improve them. She is basically helping us be the best version of ourselves which then everything around us benefits when we are on our game

I struggled to finish this one. I was hoping for an instruction manual with sustainability life skills and instead get buzz words like "highest self" "alignment" and "vibration". this is a book for people who want to feel good about themselves when they travel and do yoga as their chief interests (read unsustainable carbon emissions and cultural appropriation) not for people who actually want to make a difference even if it's inconvenient.
