the 2hole series needs a different narrator

I love these books, always have l. but this narrator infuriates me, she doesn't portray Jacob or Charlie well, the emotions don't come through properly. and sometimes her voice is just terrible and if you don't know the book you wouldn't know she changed characters

Terrrible narration

The narrator is so awful!!!! From the pronunciation of Jacob as Jacup, the terrible way in which they narrate any of the male voices, to the way the male voices especially ‘jacup’ says Bella is like nails on chalkboard it’s absolutely unbearable. Why did they chose this woman to narrate this series it’s so infuriating.

Much better vocal performance

Although there were a few writing errors in this book, I still really enjoyed it and the voice actress did a much better performance with separating the different character's voices.

I like learning all of the things that aren’t told in the movie.

Love love love the story but the narration could be better in terms of displaying the way the characters express what they are saying internally and externally. The last part of the audiobook with Jacob speaking is amazing though. Sounds just like how Taylor Lautner portrays Jacob in the movies, which I LOVE.

Not the best narrator

I like the story, there are some flaws but overall it's not terrible. But for a story as infamous as Twilight, they should've chosen an amazing narrator. Kadushin has good rhythm and pronunciation, but her tone of voice make the characters' lines seem rude and almost condescending (when in fact they are being kind). She often makes Jacob's dialogue sound creepy. With Kadushin, the only character who seems to speak nicely is Esme. If you want the characters to be true to themselves, choose a different audio book for Twilight.

Why Do I Still Like These

I'll admit, I can't stop listening to these. The narrator is just soothing and the plot is just weird enough for me to listen to this while I fall asleep. If you want a good logical plot, move along.

Change the reader

The reader, Kadushin, makes Jacob sound really selfish and immature and dramatic when we know that he isn’t. Maybe nest time read it with a more accurate tone. But otherwise, not bad but I think there’s better audio books on YouTube.

Terrible narrator

I’m glad my first experience with this book was reading it myself because I really enjoyed the story. The narrator for the audiobook is terrible. She makes everyone sound stupid and petulant. The choices she makes for her tone and inflection are almost always different than what I would do. Even when the text gives direction like “she murmured” or “he said sarcastically” the narrator does not take these things into account. I actually found it hard to get through this book even though it’s my favourite from the series. I should have just relistened to Midnight Sun (good narration on that one) rather than spend a credit on Eclipse.

OK then

I’m not gonna say that it’s not an interesting book because it is. I enjoyed having it on in the background, and I am going to read the next book. But Jacob assaulted Bella. Bella has no back bone. And Edward is controlling!

I just had to get out there
