Publisher's Summary

When Gunnar Long is transported into the first fully-immersive virtual MMORPG, he finds himself in a new world filled with magic, mystery, and adventure.

No more 9-to-5 job. No more studio apartment. No more reality TV.

Finally, he's in a place where he can call home, a place with people he can call friends.

But as more people want to trade their real world lives to get inside Eden's Gate, the government of the outside world wants the "game" shut down at all costs.

Gunnar must learn to survive, grow in power, and find a way to send a message back to his old home.

"We're fine. We're alive. Eden's Gate is real."

Eden's Gate is a LitRPG adventure.

Thrilling book with only 1 annoyance

The book is quite exciting, and the main character and his decisions are quite easy to identify with and support. This was my first litrpg and I'm pleasantly surprised. The only thing that was pretty annoying was the narrator continuously reading off Gunners stat page, especially later on when it got fairly long.

Would definetly recommend.

pretty good

though some of the characters dialog/actions seem a little childish at times, it is a good story. the narrator's voice is quite devoid of inflections a lot making the story sound a little flat, so that could use some work.

Kind of a SAO rip off But still pretty damn good!

I found the narration a little too monotone at 1st, but as new characters came in, it grew on me 3.5/5

The Story is kind of a RIP off of the beginning of the Anime "Sword Art Online," but the story from then on, is fairly different.
I definitely like Eden's Gate more then some other LitRPG Novels.

Fantastic Story

This was a great story. The MC is a little slow, and makes many questionable decisions, but ends up on a tolerable path eventually.

*spoiler complaint* If the MC really wanted to find his gf as bad as he said he did, he'd ask to be shown photos of all the rachel's. 400 isn't that many, it would take an hour at most to look through them.

And the for wanting everyone to earn their own way through the Doctor is just sitting in his castle with all the comforts banging succubi.. and checking in once a month for a few minutes is too much for him?

a good introduction into an isekai type setting

loved the story. only thing I was always bleh about was the game interface always listing every single level or stat when the MC looks at his stat board. other than that I cant wait to read the rest

audio quality

the narration was great however the quality of the audio made it sound like there was either feed back or he was in a tunnel or bathroom with too much acoustics.
