Set over the course of one school year in 1986, this is the story of two star-crossed misfits - smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try. When Eleanor meets Park, you’ll remember your own first love - and just how hard it pulled you under.

A cute love story; but not enough happens
As a 26 year old, maybe I would have appreciated the book more if I was younger. It is a cute love story, and very well written, but not enough of a plot for me to really enjoy it.

Okay
It didn't draw me in as much as I would have liked. Still a cute story. I felt like his voice for her was too meek for her personality.

Beautiful
This book was by far one of the best books i’ve ever read. The writing was impeccable and story was so beautiful. Many moments made my heart truly hurt. I loved the changes in point of views between eleanor and park, fantastic concept. I don’t read much contemporary but this is a book that makes me want to read more.
